A shocking video has emerged of a 7-Eleven worker threatening to slap a customer who brought his dog into the store.

The footage, filmed by a fellow customer, showed the confrontation between a man holding his dog's leash and a convenience store worker, believed to be in Sydney.

The customer, wearing a hat and sunglasses, was captured jostling with the 7-Eleven employee near other shoppers and telling him to 'f*****g move'.

The employee, who was wearing a mask, stood in front of the man to block his path and told him 'you can't bring your dog in here'.

'Move... f*****g move,' the customer responded.

He shoved the employee and began elbowing him in the chest.

'P**s off, get off,' he screamed.

The employee grabbed on to the man's arm and raised his left hand.

'I'll f*****g slap you in your f*****g face,' he threatened.

'Go on, you do it,' the customer replied.

A small sandy coloured dog could be seen watching the fight at their feet.

The employee let the man go and called him a 'f*****g idiot'.

The customer raised his arm as if to hit the worker and told him to 'f**k off'.

'Don't bring your dog inside,' the employee warned.

A 7-Eleven spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia they were aware of the incident.

'This behaviour is clearly not acceptable and is not something we would condone.

'We will work with our franchisee and his team to remind them of the highest level of customer service we expect in the future,' the spokesperson said.
