Queen's Balmoral estate gift shop stops selling Prince Andrew postcards in wake of scandal over Duke's links to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein

The gift shop at Balmoral Castle has removed pictures of Prince Andrew from its gift shop in wake of the scandal over the Duke's links to Jeffrey Epstein.

Postcards with pictures of the Duke of York have been removed from the shelves at the store in Royal family's Scottish home.

One tourist said that the shop previously had 'Andrew postcards' for sale and despite having ones of 'Charles, Anne and Edward' there was not one of him.

There were 'even the Queen's grandchildren, Beatrice and Eugenie' on the shelves, reports The Sun.

Visitors to the shop in Balmoral - which reopened to the public last Saturday - said sales assistants said it wouldn't be possible to buy one of Andrew.

It is alleged staff said the shop have 'taken them away' and that 'they won’t be making any more of them'.

Prince Andrew, 60, is wanted as a witness in the US over his links to dead paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

He has denied any wrongdoing and denies having been formally contacted in respect of the proceedings.

Buckingham Palace have been approached for comment.

This comes just days after vandals graffitied Prince Albert's stone memorial at the 55-acre site in Aberdeenshire.

Rangers cleared the remains of a campfire and litter, sharing pictures of the mess left behind, describing the tidy-up as a 'typical start' to the week.

Prince Albert's cairn, shaped as a pyramid, is the largest of the 11 memorials on the estate and was built by Queen Victoria in tribute to her husband, who died in 1861.
