Much of the UK has a dry day with sunny periods but it remains chilly with wet weather moving eastwards.
However there will be some chillier nights coming up as we head into the autumn months, with temperatures dipping below freezing to minus 2C at night.

During the night some of Eastern England will see fog and elsewhere across the UK there will be cloudy patches.
Tomorrow there will be brighter with showery conditions in the north and west and it will probably remain wet in much of central and eastern England into the night.
On Monday it will be dry and bright for most of the day across most of south-east England.

On Tuesday there will be showers and spells of rain but this should dry up for the rest of the week with brighter weather moving in across the UK by Thursday.
Towards the end of the month the temperatures will remain around average for the time of year with some slight dips making it feel chillier.
