Boris and Carrie Johnson’s favourite grocer has become the latest company to fall victim to a cyber attack.

Daylesford Organic was targeted by hackers last Wednesday.

Chief executive Nick Fletcher said it had caused ‘significant disruption’ to the company’s operations and IT systems.

Mr Fletcher said it had been ‘very upsetting’ – but added that there was no evidence personal data had been taken.

Daylesford was founded by Carole Bamford, the wife of JCB boss Lord Bamford, in 2002. 

It now has three shops in London, an online store and a farm shop in Gloucestershire.

It is one of a growing number of companies offering high-end ready meals.

In eight months last year the Johnsons ate £27,000 worth of Daylesford food.

Ministers have been told that Phase One of controversial rail line HS2 could cost £800million more than planned. Missouri police resume search for body of mother, 28, believed to have been 'suffocated by her husband who wanted to stop her fleeing to her native China with their daughter' a year ago

A year after a young Chinese mother living in Missouri with her family vanished without a trace, police have resumed the search for her body.  Mengqi Ji Elledge, 28, was reported missing by her husband, Joseph Elledge, on October 10, 2019. He was charged in February with first-degree murder in her death and has pleaded not guilty. The couple has a young daughter together.
