Australian motorists will soon have access to apps which will allow them to search for the cheapest petrol stations in real time. South Australians and Tasmanians will now reap the benefits of new legislation which requires petrol stations to report fuel prices to customers online. Consumers will be able to log into the app and check fuel prices in their local area, which could potentially save hundreds of dollars a year.
