Britney Spears' father, Jamie Spears, allegedly made comments about her weight, called her a 'w****e and told her she was a terrible mother' in the days and weeks after she began her conservatorship in 2008, according to a family friend.  It was just days after Britney's second release from a psychiatric hospital, when the disparaging comments began, family friend Jacqueline Butcher told The New Yorker.  Already, Jamie, who had just taken over as his daughter's conservator, was planning Britney's comeback, starting with a guest appearance on the hit TV show How I Met Your Mother. 'Small number' of SAS troops 'will STAY in Afghanistan to advise local forces' when the majority of UK and US personnel withdraw after 20-year conflict
